OSA is now part of Hexatronic’s large global fibre optic family. With representation across the world, Hexatronic is involved with large-scale installations including, Hexatronic UK Ltd. agreement with UK broadband altnet CityFibre. The agreement covers the supply of fiber to the home (FTTH) infrastructure technology, including fiber-optic cables, microducts, connectivity cabinets, and aerial nodes. The new supply agreement is worth an estimated 100 million GBP. The deal calls for Hexatronic UK to supply FTTH infrastructure technology over three years, with an extension option for an additional two years. CityFibre is in the midst of an FTTH deployment that aims to reach up to 8 million homes, 800,000 businesses, 400,000 public sector sites, and 250,000 5G access points by end of 2025.
