The Node iOLM provides intelligent test automation in addition to being a specialized OTDR for access network testing. Unlike EXFO’s other portable iOLM solutions, the Node iOLM can define and test point-to-multipoint (P2MP) fibers, as well as test downstream from the node or central office to any passive optical network line type. Essentially, what this means is that the Node iOLM can test before and after splitters. It is a node-based, fixed asset designed to expose test resources as web services so it can serve multiple workflows similarly to how a website supports multiple users.
By querying the test equipment with a topology template of the line, the application can define and run a series of OTDR acquisitions. It then assembles the information into a single XML dataset, merging the queried topological information, test results and quality assessment information associated with the discovered elements.
The FTB-5230S is an entry-level optical spectrum analyzer that is ideal for a variety of field applications, including DWDM and CWDM network commissioning and troubleshooting. It includes all the typical OSA capabilities: – Power and wavelength measurements – WDM and drift mode – OSNR testing according to IEC 61280-2-9 (interpolation method) – Offline post-processing
CWDM Analyzer. The FOT-5200 delivers extremely fast measurement of CWDM channel power. An innovative, low-cost alternative for installation, maintenance and repair of any CWDM network.
The FTBx-5245 is an easy-to-use OSA offering a wide range of measurement modes tailored to the needs of users working in R&D and manufacturing.
Since amplifiers are critical elements in all networks, it is crucial to ensure that they are optimized, that the gain is welldistributed
and that the output power is flat. Now, you can further optimize EDFAs by measuring key parameters, such as gain per channel, noise figure, gain flatness and gain slope. More importantly, you can save and print this valuable information.
Designed for optimal flexibility and field usability, the FVA-600 delivers the highest performance within handheld optical attenuators on the market
Network equipment manufacturers and transceiver manufacturers know that variable attenuators are essential components of their test systems. They look for performance, user-friendliness, complete control of test parameters and advanced programming capability. EXFO’s FTBx-3500 Variable Attenuator combines innovative design techniques, high-quality components and meticulous calibration procedure.
