Wes Oxlee is the Director of Sales and Market Development APAC for Hexatronic. Hexatronic gives OSA access to the world’s leading fibre technology and solutions, including air blown fibre technology which is employed by Hexatronic customers across four continents. Hexatronic’s ability to directly supply OSA and support our product development and design programs gives us a superior advantage in supplying telecommunications networks around Australia.

“Hexatronic offers a complete range of passive fibre optic infrastructure. We design, develop, manufacture, and market our own products, solutions, and services to work together optimally. Our business is synonymous within the telecommunication industry, especially in last mile, or fibre to the home installations,” says Wes.

OSA’s extensive presence in the Australian market and its reputational stability in market share, distribution, research and development, design and project staging and warehousing are further enhanced with the Hexatronic product offerings. OSA is now an Australian leader in end-to-end solutions that have far-reaching value-added outcomes for Australian customers.

Owning our complete production chain gives us great flexibility and enables us to respond quickly to unique customer requests. With innovation, vast technical knowledge, a high level of service, and complete commitment, we work every day to improve our offering, says Wes.

Hexatronic opens outstanding corridors for OSA to continue expanding its market share in the telecommunications, security, CCTV and enterprise markets. Innovative products, including air blown fibre technology and the inOne powered fibre product, extend OSA’s  portfolio of communications products.

Chris Thomas - Technical solutions manager - Hexatronic

Chris Thomas is a qualified engineer based in Melbourne, Victoria. Having been in the fibre optic industry for over a decade, he has overseen a huge number of projects and installations during his time in various technical roles. He has a passion for delivering technical solutions and leading-edge fibre technology.

“Training and support are at the heart of the Hexatronic offering. My role will involve the technical training and product support to the OSA team and customers to enhance OSA’s already impressive portfolio of products and services. I will also provide design, development and product management expertise,”  says Chris.

Chris provides a technical bridge between Hexatronic and OSA. He is able to assist the OSA teams on large-scale infrastructure design, product and technical support, as well as project managing the supply chain needs between Australia and Hexatronic’s various global manufacturing hubs.

“Hexatronic has an established manufacturing hub in New Zealand. As a global company with a head office in Sweden, having existing manufacturing capability in the region is a strategic windfall for OSA to deliver the most sustainable and industry-ready network solutions. Regional manufacturing mitigates much of the supply chain issues currently affecting a number of commercial industries and operations. The strategic positioning enables enhanced speed to market and allows critical delivery expectations to be met,” says Chris.

It is a combination of technical expertise and product range offered, access to regional manufacturing and aligned synergies between OSA and Hexatronic that will see enhanced cost benefits for customers. Customers will access state-of-the-art fibre optic end-to-end solutions and unparalleled speed to market that encourages confidence to supply major network infrastructure projects across the country.
