Felix Wenas Network Systems Engineer

Felix Wenas has joined OSA as the newest network system engineer, located at our Victoria office in Port Melbourne.

Having completed his degree in computer science at RMIT, Felix has worked in the networking space for the past 15 years. He comes to OSA with a great deal of experience working with VIVOTEK security products and has an excellent working knowledge of delivering outstanding IP surveillance solutions for OSA customers.

“I am very excited about the opportunity to work at OSA. I felt like I had exhausted my skill set at my previous job and was looking to upscale and work with a dynamic team that is leading the market in networking solutions,” says Felix.

At OSA, Felix gets to apply his university degree and extensive industry experience to large-scale challenges that are highly motivating and stretch his abilities. He is keen to learn more about the fibre optic hardware that OSA is heavily involved in, along with expanding his expertise with network switches and the other leading products in the OSA arsenal.

“ I enjoy being part of a larger team with a great reputation. There are some of the best and brightest people in the industry working at OSA, and being able to contribute to projects all over Australia is a great challenge. The products available at OSA are the best in the world, and the team is very supportive. Everyone has the drive and passion for making each other better each day. It is a great working environment and culture,” he says.

Felix has quickly settled into OSA and is fast becoming a valued team member. As a self-confessed tech nerd, he loves the OSA business’s technical nature and how it solves networking problems for its customers. The customer focus was a big reason for Felix joining OSA, along with the opportunity to work with gifted engineers who are professionals and continually innovating new and exciting technologies to meet the demands of the industry.

When he is not working, Felix is an avid car buff and lover of motorsport. Formula One racing and moto GP are big on his weekend calendar. He has a desire to one day have his own vintage sports car. Let’s hope that comes sooner rather than later for Felix.
